Artist Statement

I draw to know and understand the splendor and artful genius of the ordinary. Fueling this fascination in my surroundings is an intense love of light and color. Avid interest in a composition drives me to attempt reproduction in a colorful conclusion. What I consistently discover through the challenges art making presents is great joy in the process and a profound appreciation of its creation.
